From Bangor cycle along beautiful coastal scenery to lovely forest parks
and wooded glens. Relax in atmospheric pubs or enjoy freshly caught fish
in some of our great local restaurants.
The beauty of the Ards Peninsula and Strangford Lough - An Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty and one of the most conservation sights
in Europe. Watch the seals or wild geese or fish for trout, perch or pike.
Fly over on a helicopter flight or dive beneath it. Take the ferry across
the lough or visit stately homes with world famous gardens and Northern
Irelands only Aquariam and seal sanctuary. Explore Norman Towers and Medieval
Abbeys or indulge a passion for arts, crafts and antiques in the many
village shops.
Belfast
- Only 12 miles by road or half an hour by train, Belfast has
been transformed over the last few years with a new generation of visitor
attractions, bars, restaurants and shops. These along with the fascinating
cultural heritage make Belfast a great place to visit.

Coast - The Giant's Causeway, spectacular beaches, coastal scenery
and ruined castles make this a must see of any visit to Northern Ireland.
